People often want to know a little about the person they may be speaking with in therapy. This page offers a bit more about who I am and what matters to me in my work.Hi, I’m Roy. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling (First Class) from the Metanoia Institute in London, where my training included online and phone therapy. I came to counselling through my own journey of self-exploration and a desire to create spaces where people can feel truly heard. In my work, I bring warmth, authenticity, curiosity, and creativity, alongside the perspective gained from my own life experience. My training means I can provide professional and effective support both in person and online.I build genuine and supportive therapeutic relationships, particularly in these divisive times. I believe counselling should feel collaborative, respectful, and deeply human.Reaching out can feel like a big step, and it’s natural to feel unsure where to begin. You don’t have to go through things alone — when you feel ready, I’ll walk alongside you.“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
